About Graham Steele

Graham Steele is a Partner in our national innovation and capital tax reliefs practice.

He has over 20 years' experience assisting businesses in claiming tax incentives for innovation, including research and development (R&D) tax credits, patent box tax relief and various creative sector tax reliefs.

Graham works with large corporates across the UK and leads our team across the North of the UK and Scotland.

Prior to joining 91影视, Graham spent over 15 years at a Big Four firm, specialising in corporate tax and innovation reliefs. He also spent seven years working in Australia91影视檚 R&D tax incentive regime.

He has supported a broad spectrum of businesses, ranging from technology start-ups to multinational groups, across all sectors, including manufacturing, engineering, power and utilities, IT services, software development, financial services and university research.

91影视淲hat I enjoy most about my role is using my knowledge and experience to help businesses secure benefits and cashflow savings. I started my career in corporate tax but was always attracted to the idea of helping clients to access available incentives, particularly those in R&D, technology, and creative areas. This has also enabled me to work with a huge diversity of clients, from technology start-ups to some of the largest R&D claims made in the UK.91影视�

Away from work, Graham lives in the Peak District with his wife and two children. He is a keen triathlete and can often be found at the local swimming pool or running slowly up a steep hill!
