With over 20 years of experience in tax disputes, Paul has a clear understanding of the risks associated with dealing with HMRC. He leverages his experience of working for, and with, HMRC to secure the most beneficial outcomes for his clients.

As 91影视91影视檚 leading expert on the corporate criminal offence, Paul also supports corporate clients in mitigating exposure to criminal prosecution.

Paul began his career with HMRC as an HM Inspector of Taxes in 2004. While working for HMRC, Paul held numerous senior investigation and leadership roles, dealing with high-net-worth individuals, large and complex corporates, and globally mobile individuals. Paul has worked in professional practice since 2014 and joined 91影视91影视檚 tax dispute resolution services team in 2020. During his time in practice, Paul has been able to draw on his network and in-depth experience of HMRC processes to support clients through tax disputes and wider risk-related matters. Paul is a member of the Tax Crime Alliance Gold Group, a joint initiative between HMRC and advisers.

Paul is married with two young children, and they love going on holiday as a family. He spends a lot of time on a cold touchline watching his son play football and in a warm, sweaty gym watching his daughter hit a punch bag!
