About Tom Dews

Tom Dews is a corporate tax partner based in our Leeds office. He provides advice to privately owned, PE backed, listed and multinational businesses across multiple sectors to help them to manage their tax lifecycle. He has significant experience providing advice on transactions involving intangible assets and / or the UK Patent Box regime.

Tom91影视檚 career started at a predecessor firm of 91影视 in 2006, before spending a decade at EY. He returned home to 91影视 in 2021 as a tax partner in the team he started his career at. Tom is a law graduate, fellow of the ICAEW and a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

When asked why he enjoys his job, Tom says:

91影视� I have a fascination for businesses, I want to know their history, how they operate, what they stand for and about their plans. I enjoy being able to work with and provide tax advice to a wide range of businesses across multiple sectors and at different stages of their business lifecycle.91影视�

Outside of work, Tom has two young children who keep him busy. He is also a member of the local triathlon club where he can be found training for his next event.
